Since it's Friday it was gym day on top of being meeting with PT Linda day...

I started the day out with a fabulous veggie omelet made by my hubby, then get the kids off to school, came back home for a bit as our appointment with Linda wasn't until 930. Get to the gym just before 930 but she wasn't ready for me so I set out to do about 5 minutes on the elliptical before she was unfortunately, the lady on the machine next to mine had so much perfume on I couldn't breath...So instead of the elliptical I opted for some lunges & squats to get my legs moving. Once Linda was ready she started me with just bar bench presses to warm my arms up, then weights added...Once that was done she had me do pull ups from the floor up, that was difficult as pulling 230+ lbs up is not easy. After 3 sets of 12 it was time to do bar push ups 3 sets of 12. Then it was off to do legs & abs, so she started me with quad stretches, then upper ab work, then lower abs which included full sit ups...I haven't done full sit ups in YEARS! After 3 sets of 12 it was time for Linda to go work with hubby so that's when I truly headed to the elliptical for 2.5 miles.

I was so proud of myself today. After my miserable excuse for a workout last Friday with Linda (of which she said I did fine), I really pushed myself today. I wasn't about to let myself falter, and I was going to give 100% and by golly I did just that.

    I did my first sit ups in years and years and years at my boot camp this Friday morning and pulled/twisted a muscle in my abdomen...still sore if I cough. LOL but Ive survived worse so I'll survive this. Friday was hectic and as we left he yelled out "we'll take it up a notch next week" I felt like slapping his face lol
