Weight watchers this morning...

Friday, March 22, 2013

Went to my weigh in this morning and just by fate, I stayed exactly the same as last month. Starting tomorrow I will try to eat ALL of my points plus target.

I am working ALL weekend this weekend as when I went to Cracker Barrel for dinner I was told that they had a bus come in tonight and got very busy. Thank god, I was NOT working.

After I weighed in at 122.8 pounds...I picked up some smoothie mix that was on sale this week for 4.95. It is normally 7.50 a box so I saved some money.

Then I went with mom to eat breakfast. I was not able to stay for the meeting this week and from what I read in the weekly, it did not appeal to me anyway as the meeting topic was on NOT drinking away your calories.

Meaning not spending your points on a jumbo sized vanilla latte with extra whip or even a tall sized shamrock shake from McDonald's.

Both of which do not even sound good to me as I do not drink coffee and also the shamrock shake is just a milkshake that has been dyed green with food coloring (Honest).

Anyway, I went with mom after breakfast and weigh in and went to see the plastic surgeon with her and he says the site of the surgery is still doing well.

Felt so bad for her today...She has had nausea ALL day and we ate dinner and after dinner she did not make it home without getting sick.

She has chemotherapy on Monday and Tuesday of this week. Hope she does not get sick.

This week she also lost all of her hair and has had to wear the wig all week.

I am glad your weigh in went well. My thoughts and prayers are with your mom. Can her doctor give her anti-nausea medication? That has really helped my friends who have had chemo. The loss of her hair must be upsetting -- just reassure her that it is temporary, and a sign that the chemo is working.
