Day 14 Juicing

Scale went down another lb. 16lbs so far.
This made me reach my first goal of the lowest weight I had reached with Paleo.
Yesterday I pushed more juices and water and it helped.

The scale... I have a love hate relationship with it. I don't like it when it tells me the truth and I have it even more when it lies. I weigh myself daily because I like to monitor my body so I can understand it better. For example, when my monthly friend approaches I retain 3-5 lbs 2 days before it arrives until a day after it is done. During this juicing phase, I have been surprised to see the scale going down as much as it has. Yes... I saw the documentary, but this type of weight loss happens to others and not me. So it has been nice to see my body actually responding positively.

And since I like to talk about TMI subjects, I will address the bathroom issues during juice fasting. You pee a lot. A LOT. Then I was under the impression that there would be no bowel movements since I am only ingesting juices. That was not the case! And adding flax seed and chia seeds to my juices, have made things more regular too. I don't know if this works the same for all people, but it sure was a pleasant surprise for me, especially since I go out with clients all the time and I don't have to worry about "accidents"

Engery was up today, did 30 min Zumba. I get cold usually in early evening. Been wearing long sleeve shirts at home and sleep with one on too. It goes with the territory of having your digestion system dormant. Hot tea helps with this.

Off to drink some tea and catch up on shows.
