The Me I Dream To Be

Friday, March 22, 2013

I want to be the me to whom exercise is a must on a daily basis, that if she misses a workout or an opportunity to be active it pains her within... the me to whom eating fresh raw veggies and fruits is the only way to eat and that anything else is thoroughly unappealing and doesn't cause any temptations no matter what... the me who doesn't dwell constantly on what to eat or what I look like... the me to whom food is really a non-issue... the me who prepares delicious meals for my family... the me who loves to garden and grows the most tasty veggies and fruits... the me who has and maintains a beautiful flower garden as well... the me who never wastes time watching mindless tv shows or spending hours on the computer mainly doing nothing... the me who couldn't care less who's twittering what or the current statuses on facebook... the me who can pop on sparkpeople just a few minutes a day to chat with friends and offer words of encouragement... the me who loves the outdoors and spends as much time there as possible... the me who feels half her age... the me who rides roller coasters, goes bike riding, runs up stairs, is willing to learn to surf, loves to dance and does so at any opportunity... the me who loves her work and does work she loves... the me who keeps her home clean enough to be comfortable and able to find all she needs, yet messy enough to see that a family lives there... the me who loves the beautiful, healthy skin she's in and that glow shows without (without make-up!!).

especially on the beach. :)

That's the me I'd like to be. I think I'd settle for about halfway between there and the me I am now.

Wow, thats the "me" I want to be too. This was a powerful blog. If you wrote this yourself, girl, you have talent and the ability to really motivate people with your words. And if you found it somewhere, you are super adept at recognizing when something is really worth sharing! Thank you for posting it. And you are going to AMAZE yourself!

This is a very emoticon blog. Some day you WILL be that person with some hard work. I never thought I would become a person who actually LOVES to exercise. But, I started out slow, and now I am. It becomes kind of addictive actually. A good addiction that is.

I wish you lots of luck on your transformation to be the person you want to be.

That's a lovely picture! I've read that "daydreaming" our goals, probably called visualizing :), is a powerful tool. Keep dreaming!! And one step at a time, you can get there. Start a streak on one of those dreams and see where that one success will lead you!
