# P(x≠70) But we don't know what it equals!!!

### Friday, March 22, 2013

This is going to be a quick update. I won't talk about the baby shower yet, as I'm still cleaning up and editing the photos from that (I took about 100 of them!) So, I wanna pick the nicest ones to represent.

Very quickly: I was sick and as soon as I got well I pretty much had to start studying for my math test. So, needless to say, I haven't even begun to tackle my March goals:
-150 fitness minutes per week
-No eating after midnight
-Drink more water daily
-Eat freggies at every meal

Some of these I was able to work on while being sick, but the fitness minutes for sure I've not even scratched the surface. All are still a work in progress. I ate my dessert a few minutes ago, and it's well after midnight... oops. Honestly, I forgot to see what time it was. I was busy in the kitchen baking a key lime pie until about midnight. Anyway, now that my test is over and I'm able to breathe mostly normal, I can start in on the exercise.

Not much else is going on.

I'm sure you all got tired of all my math related status updates. It was all-consuming for several days. I saved all my homework for the last module, which is 3 chapters covered over the course of a month, to do at the last minute. It helps me to study (particularly the stuff that was covered a month ago!) and then to go over all the questions on the study guide. Whew! I was very determined to not fail this one.

Unfortunately, math is hard for me. I read many of your suggestions on my status updates and will for sure be taking some of your all's advice. I'm going to look into a tutor and I used a website to help me with a few things I got stuck on. In the meantime, I found a really great way to illustrate my relationship with math:

Yup, math makes me crazy. And I do wanna tear my eyeballs out.

And I was waiting to write this blog until after I got my test back to know what my grade was before writing. Turns out my instructor forgot them tonight, so I probably won't know until Tuesday. Which was a major bummer. Before I headed out the door, I told my brother and sister-in-law the only reason I was going to class was that I didn't want to wait an entire weekend to get my graded test. Guess I ate those words big time. I was sooooo tired, I just didn't want to go to class. I'm still tired, but of course am having some insomnia issues.

Of course, I've been dying to know my grade, so when I found out he forgot our tests, my reaction was pretty much like this.

Ending this blog now. I'm going to bed! I'll update with pics from the shower soon!

Glad you're starting to feel better. It stinks to get sick when you're trying to study.

When I was in school, I was great at science ! However, I was weak at math. As I got older, my math skills did improve. If you find yourself struggling, you should consider getting a tutor. When I was having problems in a class, someone told me to get a tutor and it was the best advice I received. That tutor helped me get my grade from a D to B by the end of the class. They taught me skills that I still use today. Find out what tutoring services the school has. I'm pretty sure they are free. so, take advantage of them.

Don't worry that you weren't able to exercise as much as you wanted. Now that you're feeling better, you can slowly ease back into your routine.

So glad your test is behind you! Nothing more frustrating than a project or class or test that never seem to end. Love your cartoon illustrations! While they aren't really funny, they do show how you are feeling very well! Hope you can catch up on rest a little and relax too!

I stink at math. I admire anyone who pushes forward with such a challenging topic! I hope you get some rest this weekend.

Math was never my thing, either. And it doesn't apply to my life or job at all so it doesn't really matter that I stink at algebra! :)

I hope you get an awesome grade on your test! Hopefully you can forget about it for a bit so you can enjoy your weekend!

With all the effort and study, you surely didn't fail. Have a lovely weekend. Work on some meditation and Jill-centric stuff :)
