I just read a thread on the Motivation resources page that totally inspired me! I've been having trouble coming up with small ways to reward myself for sticking to my new healthy habits, and this thread was on how people reward themselves. I now have tons of good ideas for rewards!

I think what I'll do is for every week that I consistently meet my food & exercise goals, I'll treat myself to one of the smaller rewards; for every month, I'll go for a bigger reward. Each 10 pounds lost will also earn me a bigger reward.

Smaller rewards (under $15):
-potted plant for my office or apartment
-new bubble bath to enjoy
-fun stickers (for on my streak calendar)
-sugar-free syrup for coffee
-new socks
-new earrings
-manicure (professional)
-new book

Bigger rewards ($15 and up):
-bouquet of flowers
-new perfume
-new shirt/blouse
-new pants
-new CD
-new computer software

For daily rewards, I've found that I get such a "high" from having treated myself well all day that I don't need it! I might make a healthy snack, like an apple & PB, be a special daily reward. (And maybe that will instill the habit of looking at healthy food as rewarding instead of just junk food!)
