Tackling That Stress

Thursday, March 21, 2013

Wowza things have been crazy. First off, I wrote two blogs at my other site

Local Eats: Atlantic City Country Club

Review: Product Samples from KLUTCHclub

I would love if you would check out the second link, even if you don't leave a comment. I just really liked their products so I signed up to be an affiliate (basically, I get a comission if anyone uses my link to sign up). I'm not trying to sell it but would just like if you would look at the post :)

So on to more important things! And update on all those stresses:

emoticon I got into UPenn (you already knew that!)
emoticon The tuition is INSANE and they can't give me funding.
emoticon That just means I'm going to spend the weekend applying for scholarships and fellowships (that emoticon is my determined face)
emoticon My professor is excited for me
emoticon We meet next week to discuss my Master's thesis
emoticon I just gotta put on my game face and plow through the next few months!

As for fitness and health...

emoticon I have been slacking on the workouts and no running at all.
emoticon I ate Sonic for dinner yesterday.
emoticon Which made me feel all sorts of sickies and I didn't sleep.
emoticon But I have a plan!
emoticon But you guys won't get to hear about it until I finalize it... so check back Monday!

I'm feeling great today and I have a lot of work to do for school. I just have to keep my eye on the ball right now but I also can't let my health go to the wayside. Besides, my jeans are getting a little tight and I'm consistently hovering around 158lbs (waaay up from my low of 140 but been stable for like a year now). Just keep on trying!

Sounds like you have good plans in place (or about to be in place) and you are going to come out on the other side of all this stress very successfully! emoticon
