Stepped out of my comfort zone

Tuesday, March 19, 2013

Stepped out of my comfort zone on Saturday. I drove myself to the States and back. Big thing for me. My anxiety started last Monday when I made an order & said to deliver it to a UPS store near the border.

But I kept looking at the map on Google to familiarize myself with the route and had the address programmed in the GPS. No problems at the border crossings either way.

So I am comfortable with doing it again. Ordered some jump blocks so I'm waiting for them to ship now.

So many things I want to order now. I have no problem with paying duty. It's just the shipping just seems to be enormous!

Border crossings can be tricky. Which border did you cross? We live about 4-5 hours south of the border and cross at Nogales, AZ when we want our "gringo fix"
Well done going on your own!!

Isn't it weird how our anxiety about any kind of thing out of our comfort zone can be so much more painful than actually doing the thing.

    I know... that's me too.

Good for you in crossing that border and back!!! You literally and figurately crossed the border!! AWESOME
