Hey You!
Yeah, you over there, the one trying to sabotage me!! You, who thought "man, I did a great job losing last week, I can totally take tonight off" on Friday and then you, who felt so bad on Saturday that you decided to take it off to recover too.
On Sunday, you tried to get back in the game, running five miles and only going over the max calories by a couple hundred, but you hurt your foot, probably from running in shoes due for a change.
Hey You! You had a bad Monday, and you tried real hard, but you gave in to a couple of pieces of candy at work. But you tracked it all and were nearly home free with a healthy meal planned at home for dinner... but then you listened when someone else had a bad day and wanted sushi and you let yourself get tempted by ice cream on the way home.
You, who always shows up right around this time to totally derail my weight loss efforts. I don't appreciate your presence! I'm asking you to leave and I'm telling you that you aren't welcome here anymore.
Ok, so it was me who did all those things. If I keep blaming it on "someone else" I'm never going to get rid of the voice or get it to listen to reason and moderation. I hurt my foot pretty bad yesterday while running, so I decided to take today off from the gym, but, I didn't need to go out for ice cream on top of it. I'm signed up for Body Pump again tomorrow at 6am and I'm going no matter what. If my foot hurts, I'll just use lighter weights. I am determined to see at least a little drop in weight at the next weigh in, two weeks of weighing in under 150 would be AWESOME and I need to keep that in mind.
