Don't ya love life and the never ending 'unexpected' pitfalls? haha

Well, I went to the conference, had dinner, hubs was chilled from walking to resturant and went immediately to bed at 9pm. Came home early from work the next day and straight to bed and Saturday we ended up in E.R. with a 104.4 fever, Flu b, bronchitis and toncilistis ...so bad that they kept him over night which freaked me out. (Probably because the back woods hospital is known for not be so great and killing people!) He only had to get IV and oxygen for the night, home yesterday but with all the symtpoms. Im trying to get my dr. to calle me in some "Tamiflu" in the event I get symptoms (it has to be started pretty fast when symptoms occur). I am GRATEFUL I feel well enough to take care of him.

My dilemma......I would like to get back to some easy working out, but my room for that is our bedroom. I don't think I can even play a DVD in our other TV room.....but is it courting disaster to workout and breath so heavily in a room where a contagious person is sleeping/hanging out????? I am sleeping in the same bed at night, so guessing it may not be any 'worse' then that anyway. I still have a vague sinusy headachey feeling but still MUCH better then the weak and tired couple of weeks I had. And is it just me, or does anyone else feel like a fever should be allowed to run it's course so it can kill off the virus?? I had a fever for about 24 hours with mine but I just rode it out and didn't get as sick as hubs has gotten. They were all adamant he couldn't have an extra blanket in the hospital b/c they were trying to get his fever down...but I could feel his skin touch on his arms, etc, was very chilled....so screw 'em, I wrapped him up in my coat!! Don't RN's know that *I* know better? haha

Hope your honey feels better soon. I believe if a fever isn't too high it is actually good for the body and helps fight off the sickness. I understand not covering them up when they have a fever but that can be a toughie when someone is freezing and having chills. emoticon

Hope you find a way to workout some even if it is just getting outside. Is it warming up where you live? We are in full spring right now.

And of course, WE ALL know better...who do those nurses think they are?
