Still cranky, but working on it

The past few weeks have been more challenging that I really want to deal with....life is like that....I can't change some of the circumstances, but I can change my attitude. Saturday, I had a little mishap and had to spend yesterday icing it....... This morning, I missed my connection as the first driver dawdled in the bad weather and the connecting bus was prompt. I walked, using my cane, the six or seven blocks up from the transfer point. I got very wet, but it really wasn't bad. The up side is that I got some exercise in!

    One of my goals is to work on positivity. I realized this morning on the first bus that I was really stressing every work day about making that connection. Life is too short for that. Two years ago I could not have made that walk....now I can...even with my leg problem. I have to be very happy that I have that choice.

    As I walked, I have been thinking about my choices in various areas that have got me where I am. If I want to change....I have to make different choices. I am not too old to change....it is not too late. I have to use that as a little bit of a mantra.

    I can relate because little (or not so little) things bug me. I love the way you look for the silver lining by saying the upside is you got some exercise. It reminds me that I should look for the silver lining too!
