Update on goal for last week

Sunday, March 17, 2013

Best laid all I can say. I had my bag packed, clothes laid out last Sunday to get up and go to the gym before work. Alarm goes off at 4:45, three hours after the last time I looked to see what time it was. I hit my phone alarm and grabbed another hour and a half of sleep. Okay there are six more days and the goal is to get up for two of them. Everything is good, I tell myself.

Monday night, repack my gym bag and think okay lets pack or plan food. This way I just grab everything out of the frig and go with the gym bag. Alarm set again for 4:45, I did sleep better. So maybe the time change isn't going to kick my butt. Off goes the alarm, over I roll only to wonder who left the window open. Ohp, that would be me. Snuggle back down, just give me a minute and then I will brave the cold. 5:45 it is now or never time, out of bed I go. Quickly throw on my workout clothes and out the door. I make it to the gym, however I only have 15 minutes to work out.

Tuesday and Wednesday I repeat Sunday/Monday never making it to the gym in the morning. Thursday I decided this is silly, I can get out of bed like a big girl and go to the gym. Now I didn't jump right out of bed at 4:45, but I did make it up and out the door by 5:15. Giving me 45 minutes to workout on Thursday morning. WooHoo goal sorta accomplished. I made it to the gym in the morning twice, neither time was there enough time to do what I had planned to do. But I did something, I also realized I am not a morning gym person. Maybe when it starts to be light early morning, I might change.

Everyone have a great week.

I have to admit I have been having trouble with the time change too, plus I also gave up coffee so I have been so sluggish, just don't know when I will feel myself again, sure hope it's soon. emoticon
