At it again....

So I went to my Dr regarding my concerns that I've put weight back on. She agreed that we could start the phentermine again. I was all on board. I hate that my stress gets the best of me and I eat out of emotional comfort. We also noticed that my vitamin d levels were extremely low so she asked that I add extra vitamin d to my daily vitamins. Hoping this will increase my level of energy and get me more focused on what I need to accomplish so I can enjoy life with my kids. So my total weight loss goal is 87lbs. I CAN DO THIS!!! Although this week was not a good example of what I should be doing. I did resist pizza last night at work and ate a salad but then craved pizza for dinner tonight. Although my calorie intake did not exceed 1000 calories today. My biggest hurdle will be giving up the diet soda and increasing my water intake. Wish me luck.

    I have a friend who struggled GREATLY with giving up soda and she started drinking club soda with lime. She needed the carbonation. Just a thought. For something different, I add the Crystal Light packets to my water.

    Does your doc want you to give up diet soda? If not you might want to take it by doing his step by step. I have been at goal for several decades and drink diet soda, however it has never caused me to think "I'm saving calories here so I'll eat them there". Some people (according to the studies I've read it's the mental legerdemain that is the problem,not the soda itself) have to give it up, others don't. I'm glad you are in the care of a physician.
