Rough year

Friday, March 15, 2013

Since my last blog back in Sept 12, alot has happened. I lost my "little" brother to a heart attack due to being very over weight and alcoholism this past January. He had been in and out of nursing homes with only my elderly mom and my sisters to take care of him. I did what I could but I live far away from the family. In a way it was a blessing because we were very worried about him and his mental health. Now he is whole again and with Poppa. They say that they are hunting and fishing all the time with the Uncles.
I have gained quite alot since my fall and had gotten very depressed with everything ranging from fighting with the other insurance company trying to get them to help with the hospital bills to finding out that I now have TMJ on both sides of my mouth and fluid on both knees and the wrist joints.
But on a brighter note, I got the go ahead to get back to the water exercise class and have lost a couple pounds since then.
And we are working on getting the dgd into a good Christian college near our home. Prospects look good. DS is half way thru his studies to be a minister and dh work has picked up and everyone is back to normal schedules. Yea!
So now it is time for me to pick up the pieces again and get on down that road.

Thanks for the update. God tells us to just persevere doesn't He!We have to get faith from Him in what we know to be true and that's His Word. Stay strong friend maybe some warm weather soon in your neck of the woods. Here in Texas it's warming up but in the past couple of summers we have had a week or so of spring and then 100 to 108 degrees in the shade. That's when you feel like a hound dog just want to do nothing but eat and hunt the shade. Happy the positives are coming your way!
