So i posted that pic of me with the giant cardboard check to facebook, and got a nice response to it, at least in part because I also finally mentioned the new job on that forum. Even though I'd been telling you guys about it since it happened, I hadn't said anything on there, and hadn't mentioned it to more than 4 or 5 people on line. My friend Kim referenced the Simpsons with the line, "Looks like everything's coming up Partha!"...and she might have jinxed me. Even though I got to O'Hare airport an hour and a half before my flight time, my bag didn't make it on board.

Oops. The airline will deliver it tomorrow, so that's not much of a big deal, except for the fact of my gym shoes being in that bag. Might not make it to the gym tomorrow, depending on when they get that bag back, or on the chance of finding an ancient pair of shoes still lurking around here somewhere.

The Simpsons clip mentioned above, if you're unfamiliar with it:

Seriously, how hard can it be to get the correct bags onto the correct planes?? Lost luggage drives me crazy, luckily it has only happened to me one time, and it was on the returning home from vacation flight.

Since airports have a tendency to lose luggage, and with all the traveling you are doing, it might be a good idea to have doubles of a lot of stuff you take back and forth, so at least you have workout shoes and stuff waiting for you when you get home!

Workout wherever you are, with no equipment:

    30 jumping jacks
    20 squats
    10 push-ups
    20 lunges
plank as long as you can (up to a minute)

    Repeat 2-3X.
