Over The Hump And Headed To The Weekend!

Thursday, March 14, 2013

We're over the hump and headed to the weekend people! emoticon We have NO plans for the weekend, other then what we would normally do. I, for one, am happy about that. emoticon

It's been the same old, same old at work today. I have nothing to rant about...report about...etc. I did my workout at lunch and started a new book (more on that in a bit). Eating was OK. I made Korean Bulgogi stir Fry for dinner last night. And tonight will be Kalbi ribs (Korean BBQ beef short ribs) with some rice. The short ribs have been marinating since this morning (5 AM). I'll pan fry those puppies up and we have dinner! emoticon

OK...books. I think I'm going to add a section to my blog for the books I'm reading. I'll post when I start one...when I finish one..and what it's about. Mind you...I do, on occasion, move into the trashy left field of Sci Fi. In fact...I'm on Shelfari (blurb from Google: See what your friends are reading. Create virtual bookshelves for your books to keep track of what you've read. Discuss your favorite books in a book club.) and have created a group just for those books...it's called Romancing The Alien. emoticon And I'll rate each one on how I liked it. Any suggestion/comments are most welcome! Here's my rating system:

emoticon - Loved it and would recommend it.
emoticon - It was a good read.
emoticon - It was just OK.
emoticon - Well..that was a mistake!
emoticon - Kind of Adult and a bit trashy

Where do you FIND all those??? Like is there a specific genre they're called? I thought I was a fast reader! How many books did you read last year, do you know? It keeps track on Shelfari. Year before last I read 40. Last year I read 13. I'm not real consistent! (Ok, on to the next blog!!!)
