Day 1: No Unplanned Snacking and Tracking Every BLT

Thursday, March 14, 2013

I'm happy to report that my emoticon was a success emoticon .

YES, there were difficult moments like when I cut up a Nutrigrain bar for my son and he didn't eat it all. I would have usually snacked on a couple of pieces or finished what he did eat and not log it. I also gave the kids cupcakes and ice cream after dinner and I would have taken a few spoonful of the ice cream and a piece of the cupcake. I took a deep breathe and dished everything out. Then I wiped my hands when the frosting got on it. I didn't even want a drop of it on my lips. I knew that would have just taken a taste of it that would have lead to me wanting more.

I went to bed feeling great. Counted every TINY calorie and entered my mouth and finish my day with a calorie deficit.

DAY 2 - My menu is planned for the day. This will be a challenging day since I will be hitting the gym hard this evening but I do have a post-workout snack all planned out.

I'm sure I won't be blogging every day but I will be keeping a SparkStreak which you can view on my spark page. Until my next blog, emoticon emoticon

I love it! I need to track by M&M or per Cheeto every now and then to keep me attentive and responsible. At least a Nutrigrain bar is healthy.

There is nothing like tracking to keep us honest.
