NS Victories and my exhausting day

Hard to believe it's been almost a month since I've blogged.

Lately things have been pretty good. In fact, today I had my fastest 5k and fastest mile. Woo hoo! Just realized it is Woo hoo Wednesday.. So definitely woo hoo. Haha. My 1 mile is at 14'44'' and my 5k was at 48'02''. I felt accomplished in that alone. I didn't want to walk at first.. but then once I got out I decided I was gonna kick myself into gear to get ready for the Color Run in May. Glad I pushed myself because I have a record to beat now.. and an idea of where I sit. After my 5k walk/run around town, I came home for about a half hour.. and then decided to put in 2 more miles walking since I am extra busy tomorrow. 5.3 miles today.. and MAN my legs are sore.

I'm also still working on doing challenges on to keep myself active. I've completed the 100 crunches per day for 2 weeks challenge and am currently working on 150 crunches per day for 14 days challenge.

Last night I had very little sleep.. so I've been feeling crabby today but did my best not to crab at everyone. We had to get up and take care of an issue with our taxes. Something went wrong where the IRS lost 2 of the questions that were sent in.. so we received papers that said our taxes were incomplete. Thankfully they got it taken care of and our refund is being processed. Hoping to receive it soon! Haha. More for bills.. but I NEED some new clothes that fit. And I NEED (ok.. really want) some new workout clothes because I kinda just wear whatever I can find right now.

Anyways.. That is the awesomeness of my life. Not much going on besides kicking butt to lose this weight and struggling from day to day with eating a healthier diet. Some days are good.. others not so good.

Sounds great! I used to run(walk) a few years back, but I was just heavy enough that it really bothered my one knee. I hope to get some outside activities started this year so I can spend more time outside. I miss exercising outside. It is so refreshing. I am glad they got your taxes all figured out. Things like that can be so bothersome and time consuming. I need some workout clothes too. lol I also wear whatever.
