I made it through the next step in TRX this morning! Three exercises, 2 minutes on the Elliptical ~ repeated 3 times ~ let me tell you, that last 2 minutes on the Elliptical I thought I was going to die.... but I kept going, watching the timer the entire time... but knowing that I could do anything for 2 minutes! I wasn't sure for several seconds of that 2 minutes, but I survived.... sweating my butt off, but I made it!

Gotta do that again on Thursday and then we double it next Tuesday... plus upping the time on the planks... Wow, and I thought I had this TRX stuff in the bag! Yeah right! But Shawn told me from the beginning that as soon as I felt comfortable, it was time to push it some more! As soon as your body is comfortable, you aren't doing it any good! And I guess my form is already better, so that is a good thing!

I'm so sore today from the lunges yesterday~ my butt obviously isn't just fat 'cuz there is something in there that is SORE today! Guess that is a positive thing! lol! It will be interesting what we decide to do in tomorrow's walking routine!

I had a conversation this morning though (with Ryan) that I completely believe ~ you HAVE TO HAVE a workout buddy! I know for me, if I didn't have Shawn this morning, I would have never gotten up and come in to workout! If he's driving 30 minutes to meet me ~ and I'm driving 20 minutes to meet him ~ I'm going to be there! I think even if we weren't each driving, I'd be there 'cuz he's getting out of bed on his rest days to train me ~ I'm dang sure gonna be there! Same with Rhonda ~ she doesn't have to drive more than 2 minutes, but if she's going to be here, I'm going to be here! So, yes, the workout buddy makes the difference! I'm sure not gonna do it on my own! Motivation for me comes in more than myself!

So now, I have to figure out what I'm going to do during Spring Break when it's just me ~ what will be my motivation ~ that I don't want to take 2 steps back ~ but will I hold myself accountable? Guess we'll see! I still have another week before that test comes!

    You're doing great! A workout buddy does help--as long as they are motivating. I've had some who were bad influences. Yikes! Keep up the good work! emoticon

    You will continue because you will expect it of yourself and so will the others....besides you may get bragging rights saying "I did it.....did you?"
