The Zumbathon was a lot of fun last night. It was very crowded, very loud and very energetic. I only sat out on 3 songs - each time to try and catch my breath. There were eight instructors who took turns leading a couple of songs each to music played by live d.j's. Other than one song which none of the instructors knew (how did that get in there?) it went off without a hitch.
I ended up translating for a Japanese woman. She knew I spoke Japanese and came up and confessed that she had no idea what they were saying about the raffle and other details. It is amazingly hard to translate when all the blood has left your head and you can barely talk! But I did ok, I think.
After the Zumbathon both my heart rate and my bloodsugar was really high. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to sleep, but with the help of some pain relievers I slept ok. I sure was achy today, but not really more than usual.
