hope the instructions about saving photos and editing them into your page helps...

Often times you can save a photo you like from elsewhere on the internet (like in your search engine - type in "image (theme you are looking for - ie: Shamrock or Butterfly or Sunsets or whatever. Some of the hits will be from companies who want to sell you the rights to the image, but others will be free use. Or even just type in "free images (topic)." Or of course you can upload your own images to a directory on your computer you can find. If you have a windows machine (xp, win 7 win 8 etc) then usually Microsoft has a "My Pictures" folder already created. Just be sure you know where it is, so that when SparkPeople has that "upload photo here", you can find it then when you click on the "Browse" button off to the right - that's where you go tell it the path name for example c:/downloads/mypictures or c:/user/YourName/downloads/mypictur
    es/ (photo image) etc.

the bad thing is that with everyone's computers, there's literally more than one way to find your photos and do these things! But so far, not a way to do it from my iPhone photo stream - I still first have to save the photo to my PC picture file...).

    Hope that helps?

Yes, save the picture and then just edit your page.

I hope you figure it out. I am so bad at explaining things.

I was told to save the image you want for background image to your computer, and then follow the rest of the directions above, then you can reach the image you want. I still need to try, been so busy. Hope you can do it, too!

Go to your page and on the upper, right hand corner it says "Edit My SparkPage". Click that and then at the top of the page you will see some options to change your page. On the left side of the color wheel, the fourth option says "Upload a Background Image". Click that and follow the instructions. When done, make sure you go back to the upper right corner and SAVE YOUR CHANGES. Have fun redecorating your page and good luck! emoticon Chelsea

You get background images by editing your sparkpage and then there should be a spot that says background images and you upload it from there! Hope that helps!
