I have a knack of taking life a little too seriously. There’s more to life than reaching a goal if you can’t have a little fun along the way. I try to make room in my week to do at least three fun things. It's important to slow down and smell the roses! Many of these do not translate into a photo opportunity, so I’ll go back a little in time to pick a few fun photos:
If you obey all the rules, you miss all the fun. -- Katharine Hepburn
In between goals is a thing called life that has to be lived and enjoyed. -- Sid Caesar
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. -- Albert Einstein
A special hug, hug with international students at a Nepali birthday:
Spreading good cheer at the nursing home:
Being silly with a fellow college student at a church dinner:
Having a little fun shooting for a Teddy Bear Team profile photo:
Wow . . . now that was one very special Easter Sunrise service with my hubby's church on Lake Superior!
I actually bought this outfit last year thinking I would have fun with my 3-pc set of belly dancing DVDs. Yikes! -- What was I thinking? The delight alone, however, was more than worth it! I ended up settling for a jingle wrap skirt to boogie around in.
Oops? -- Small obstacle course. If a tree falls in the middle of the woods, does it make a sound?
Love my Hebrew apron in the church kitchen:
Love how these mushrooms looks like a floral bouquet:
Both fun and beauty in a rainbow:
Hello there, little fella. Like Dr Doolittle, I sometimes talk to the animals!
How is fun part of your week's activities?
