This is short but it is for all my friends who are not on my teams and didn't read this there.

Today I registered for the surgery. It took hours and lots of tests. I have such good church friends from my church and from other churches also. They are coming out of the wall when I need them. Texas is a friendly state. And I have found out if you want to have friends you must be a friend.

While we were waiting in the waiting room a lady began to talk. She had such a sad story. My friend and I went over to pray with her. I sat down beside her and just took her in my arms and hugged her and told her it was alright to cry. Then we prayed for her. It was not only a testimony to her but also to others in the waiting room. God always has something for us to do.

I am to sign in tomorrow at noon. That doesn't mean the surgery will be then. Others had to go in at 8:00, others at 9:00 and I get to sleep in. WOO HOO. I don't get to eat but I would rather sleep in than eat.

My friend who went with me to register fixed my lunch and sent supper home. Healthy vegetable soup she made herself with guinea. I love it. Then her husband who is my health power of attorney had to come over and sign papers with me. They are family to me and are so precious.

Two ladies are taking me in in the morning and others will be there also.

God bless all of my Spark friends who are praying for a quick recovery.
