My new habit - day 6

I'm finding it really difficult to keep up with all this Spark stuff at the moment. It's time for me to go to bed and yet I'm trying to write my blog and comment on other people's blogs in order to earn points for my Awesome A Team. :-(

Last night, I was a little late for bed but that was because I'd been taken out to see some friends for the evening and, as I couldn't dictate what time I was brought home, I didn't get home until late. All the same, it felt like a small victory as I got to bed much sooner than I would normally have done in the circumstances.

Q6. Do you need motivation or advice? Ask for it!

Answer: How do you fit everything in without staying up half the night? I'm off work at the moment and STILL not doing it all. I'm feeling overwhelmed (can you tell?!).

Short blog, hurried blog, or I'll be late to bed!

    I know how you feel, blogging has cost me some sleep this week but I feel better for getting to know some of the team better. I aim to sleep a bit extra over the weekend to make up for it...

    I know... somethings have a tendency to be counterproductive. Don't let stuff get you down. Is there anyway you can comment earlier in the day and blog at another time before hand? Just one more day and we don't have to do this anymore if we don't desire to!

    And to answer your question, I got 7 hours and 26 minutes of sleep!!! I was out before 10. Yay!!! Now it's 10:10 so I need to get in the shower and head for "la-la Land"

    Yeah~ you are so right about bit of feeling over whelm with our SP challenge stuff.
    Tell you truth, me too actually going to bed much much later due to doing SP assignment . But for me I try to think as my necessary learning step for doing extra for my personal growth and for healthy living. But it's not worth it, if you start stress you out. So, do as you can. Try not to this challenge things stress you out. Team does not get upset if you miss point or two. You come first. We would prefer for you to keep your sleep goal then stay up late for us. (*^^*) take it easy.

    I agree. There is a lot of stuff to do but i am enjoying it. It is neat to meet new people from all over the world.
    I wanted to send everyone on the team a message. It has not happened fully yet. The answer to blogs has helped.
    Just think - the blogging will probably be over on Saturday, just in time for a new activity. Wonder what our leaders are thinking up for us next?

    I agree Lindsay...this blogging/commenting this week has been too much. I figured the exercise is the most important to me so I have let the blogging slide when I don't have time. It has felt "forced" anyway and I've traveled this week to our grand daughters. Something had to give.
    We love you for your effort BUT you know, YOU are the most important issue here!!! Do what works for YOU. I'll be chasing you for those 120 minutes NEXT challenge . LOL

    Do what you can. This past week, if I had time to read and comment on blogs I did. If I didn't have time, then I didn't read/comment. On the other hand, I made time for exercise. There is someone out there who hasn't done much/any exercise but may have blogged everyday. So don't worry about it!!! emoticon

    I hear you Lindsay. This week has been tough, to get in the exercise minutes, do my tracking, posting, and the blogs and commenting! Ahhh! If the rest of the 5% is this time consuming, I will have to back off some too, just to be able to get my sleep and other things in. I'm trying to hang in there for the team, cause this week is almost finished. You're definitely not alone in finding the extra time commitment hard to sqeeze in. emoticon

    You need to do what is best for you...the challenge is supposed to be for your benefit primarily, remember!

    It can be overwhelming trying to get it all done. Do what you can. I don't post to a lot of my teams when I have a lot going on, but I do make sure to track cause that is the most important thing for me to stay accountable to myself. I post off and on when I have time which has been a lot lately cause I am not working right now so it makes it easier. You will find your balance but be true to you first and do what you need to be successful. The challenges can be a lot sometimes but they are suppose to help you not stress you. Give what you can when you can and that is all you can do!

    Don't feel overwhelmed, Lindsay. You are doing amazing. We will take anything you can give to the team, and, if it's hurting you, we can do with less. You are the most important part of this. What you need, what you can offer. Don't worry. You are doing amazing.

    I am a morning person. I used to get up at 5:30 AM to get ready to drop kids off at school and go to work. I now get up around 4:15 so I can do my workout before my day begins. (I was too tired after work.)

    This has freed up the evening for spark'n. When I was really busy, I just logged food and exercise. I understand wanting to get points for teams, but sometimes we need to put ourselves first. (That's why I began this journey is for ME!)

    My husband and kids think I'm crazy and I guess I am since I am doing Insanity, but I like the results. If I work late, then I try to do SparkPeople on a break (like now).

    Hang in there, you'll figure out a schedule that works for you! emoticon
