Yesterday was the second time back to the trainer. She stepped it up a bit.
On the agenda - 3 sets of 7 exercises:

Burpees to Overhead Press
Kettlebell Swings
Lunges with Bicep Curls
Physio Ball Pass Off
High Plank to Renegade Rows
Squat to Kettlebell Row

I nailed it! Was emoticon buckets! It felt great and I slept like a log last night.

Today I did a kickboxing DVD at home.

On other news, hubby and I signed up for a 5K in our town at the end of April. I am going to start training for it next week. My time for the last one I did was 43:43. I want to beat that!

No change on the scale this week. I think the sodium from eating out is doing me in. Next week is our official mid-point weigh in so I have to be extra good this weekend. I hope my team mate is doing the same.

    Good that you are zero-ing in on that sodium to overcome the weight loss difficulty. I read that asparagus is great if you are having water retention issues.     I have never been to a gym. I always thought Burpees was a problem with something I ate! You live and learn.

    My hubby and I also signed up for a 5K -- ours is on June 1. I am going to start the C25K program next week. I'm a little apprehensive, I have never run before. I'm sure his plan is to just walk it, but I want to try to jog anyway. emoticon
