Progress report: what can I improve on ?

For some reason, today's topic really tickles my funny bone! Where can I improve? What do I need to work on? Well...duh...just about everything! I know the topic is supposed to be a continuation of the plan I laid out earlier this week, and I'll get to that in a second, but don't you think that's a loaded question? emoticon Just my quirky sense of humor, I guess.

Well, to be serious...I have made great plans, I have put it all out there for everyone to see and I'm working it. I'm doing okay--not terrific, not spectacular, not great. But definitely okay...I know what I need to do and I know how to do it. I will continue to pay attention to all the things I've laid out. I will work to improve my consistency over the long haul--I am planning ways to keep my eating healthy during our upcoming travel (beginning the 13th and lasting until the 22nd). I also have plans for getting the exercise during that time. Now all I have to do is follow through with it all. That's probably where I will need to make the most improvements!

By the way, thank you all so much for your continued comments on these blogs. Since I've been having internet access problems and probably will for several more weeks, my time is limited and I am not responding to you all as I'd like. Please know that I read all your comments and appreciate each and every one of them. Who knows...maybe I'll get to liking this blogging so much that I'll do it more often!

    Jeannie, you're doing GREAT with the blogging. :) I'm glad to hear you have a plan for when you are travelling. That will help a lot.     I believe in you dear friend and even though it's going to be challenging, at least for me, to be on a long road trip for days and being consistent if anyone can do it I believe you can and will. It's great you have a plan to bring healthy snacks and water and still manage to get in your exercise.     Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I think sometimes the challenges or progress reports don't always come at the time WE need them. You did great to assess yourself and to share your progress. Thank YOU.

    Jeanie: Looking forward to hearing from you back in Iowa, hope you have enjoyed your trip to AZ, I know it was really cold for AZ. Have a safe trip home and enjoy the friends and the ride and of course Richard.

    Your plan sounds like a good one, I'm trying to plan for our trip to Florida in May and how I can stay within my calorie range while we are traveling. So let me know if you have any ideas.

    The internet service providers can give me more trouble than a Snickers bar. As if changing habits isn't enough of a challenge we have to wait wait wait ! You sound like you have all you can control taken care of so keep up and don't let distractions pull you back.
