This And That Tuesday

Not a lot to blog about today. I've been keeping my head down and working. So this will be a "this and that" type blog.

This: I have had such a quiet and boring day so far today. You know it's a slow day when the highlight of my day was the 56 mins I spent in the gym at lunch. I did the elliptical. I'll be doing it all week this week, then next week switch back to the treadmill for the week. I'm going to see if it makes a difference in getting the scale to move down. Yeah I know...I need to get the eating back where it should be. emoticon

I started another book today, it's called The Phantom King. It's a off shoot of the Big Bad Wold series I read over the weekend. It's book two though. I devoured...errr...read book one yesterday and last night. I got done with it about 10:30, so I did get to bed before midnight.

Not sure what we're having for dinner tonight. I'll see what we have when I get home. emoticon

That: Dinner was OK last night. I thought I had taken out some pork steaks for dinner Sunday night (for Monday) but they turned out to be rib eyes. So we had those. Hubby had rice (smaller portion though) and I had shredded hashbrowns. I add some corn to the plates and we had dinner. emoticon

I got to bed before midnight! emoticon I'm hoping to get to bed a tad earlier tonight. I don't think I'm getting enough sleep. At best maybe 6 hrs. emoticon

Hubby had fewer dizzy spells yesterday. He's back to taking his daily meds and only taking Aleve at night for the shoulder pain. He's also got a test scheduled at work for later this month. When he passes he can be a SR Insp. A promotion and more money. Then when his retires...maybe fill that spot! emoticon

So that's it for today..the this and that of Tuesday! Have a great one everyone!

    Yeah, according to that trainer at the Planet Fitness place, it's a good idea to go back and forth between machines. He says it will keep you from getting shin splints (?). Do they have an Arc trainer there at the gym? I tried it yesterday. But I'm a bit of a blonde (literally). I didn't realize you didn't have to use JUST your feet to move it, you could use your hands, too. (rolls eyes... I swear I need someone to follow me around there.) Big Hugs, Calen~

    Sounds like a reasonable good day. We all have boring times. Try getting 8 hours of sleep. That should help you lose weight. God Blessings to You and Have a Marvelous Day. You are doing great on your workouts. Take Care.
