Day 9 and I have gained weight

I have not had a cigarette in 9 days...I can breathe better already and it feels really good not to be hacking from the darn things. Unfortunately, I have gained weight but it's okay I am still gonna get there. I was chewing gum and had some dum dums for when I got the cravings and I ran out over the weekend and just started munching (oops!) When I did have them I was eating quite a few at a time so weight gain was expected. I haven't given up though I am not gonna pick them back up just got to re-train myself for different things to do when I am bored instead of smoking. Thought about trying to sew to keep my hands busy, but I don't know if momma will have time to show me the basics to get me started with her busy schedule. Good news my sisternlaw goes to third shift next week so hopefully by the end of this month I will be hitting the gym as well. :) I know that will help with this weight I have gained. I am gonna get there I can feel it all through my achy bones lol. I hope you all have a great week!!!!!! emoticon

    Congrats on not smoking. This will be a huge part of your journey to health. Yes, do incorporate some exercise right away. Walking is great, and it's free. I'm wearing a pedometer to keep motivated, and am aiming for 10,000 steps a day.
