Fit Nation Walking Challenge

I decided to join in on the walking challenge at work this year. It began today and over the next few weeks and months, we'll be challenging ourselves to walk at least 10,000 steps each day- no easy task for someone who sits at a desk most of the day! It was too cold and dark to go out for a walk by the time I got home from work and got dinner on the table, so I had to get creative. My 3 year old daughter helped me get in all of my steps by making a choo-choo train and walking all around the house (over and over again), and then we turned on some music and danced off the last thousand steps or so. I wish I could tap into some of her energy! ;)

Now I'm off to get a good night's sleep so I'm ready for 10,000 more steps tomorrow!
