Beautiful, sunny day...

Monday, March 04, 2013

I took an hour long walk with my two dogs today, and enjoying the beautiful, sunny weather in Phoenix. I'm trying to maximize my outdoor time for the next month or two since the brutally hot days in Arizona are not too far off. I multi-tasked while walking the dogs as I put in my bleaching trays. I think my teeth have whitened a shade or two. I have a good reference point because the tooth that had the root canal also underwent internal bleaching and was initially several shades lighter than the rest of my teeth...

My breakfast was healthy although a little unusual. Had a big bowl of chili, 1 banana, 1 square of chocolate, along with several cups of green tea. Since I've been bleaching my teeth I've been conscious about stain-forming food and beverages. In the past I drank my hot tea directly from the cup, but now I'm letting it cool down and drinking it through a straw. I don't mind the added step since I would rather have whiter teeth!

Hopefully, my intake of tea will help to stave off my big appetite. In the past I was able to depend on sugarless gum to help, but recently it's been counterproductive by increasing my appetite... just as well. I'd rather not chew on sugarless gum if most brands have various artificial sweeteners such as aspartame. Anyway, my jaw joints are more susceptible to damage since I had double jaw surgery last year. Best I not gnash away mindlessly on gum.

I'm excited for this week! I feel re-energized and ready to tackle some small and big goals in the upcoming days. emoticon

I love your multitasking! Great idea! Good luck with the tea. I love drinking jasmine green tea. Oh, and I live near Las Vegas, so I completely relate to the urgency of enjoying these next few weeks. Once summer hits, I'll be walking the dog before the sun comes up, and after sundown.
    Have a fabulous week! emoticon
