SparkDenver is Growing!

Monday, March 04, 2013

I'm so very excited to see the Denver team really starting to take off... We had 4 team members (5 including me) join us for our Walk & Talk yesterday (+1 significant other and +2 furry friends!). We also had several team members post that they couldn't make it this week but hoped to make it out soon. After being here for over a year, it's wonderful to see the team start to get more active!

And since I am the team leader and the one organizing a lot of these things, I wanted to set out some goals for myself as leader. I feel like it's been a lack of consistent organization that led to the lack of activity with the team, and I want to avoid that in the future. So starting this month, my goals are as follows:

emoticon Leave a welcome comment on the SparkPage of any new members, if they have a SparkPage set up.

emoticon Send out a team "newsletter" once a month, preferably shortly before the beginning of the month to announce upcoming major team activities and challenges.

emoticon Send out a weekly e-mail (on Monday or Tuesday) to remind members of upcoming Walk & Talks and other weekly get-togethers.

emoticon Give team SparkGoodies as rewards for team members who successfully complete team challenges or participate in team activities.

I hope I can continue to see growth and activity within the team. If you are a SparkDenver member and you have any suggestions or ideas to better our team, please don't hesitate to send me a message!! Thanks to everyone for your support and participation!
