No more ice on the driveway!
Monday, March 04, 2013
We have had a brutal winter. I remember worrying around Christmas that we were not going to have snow and rejoicing when we had a couple of inches on Christmas Eve. December 26 we had 12 inches of snow which has not melted and been added to many times. We have not seen the grass since December. We also had an ice storm which is a rarity here in Utah.
We had the third coldest January on record with only three days above freezing. Most of February the temperatures remained below normal and it continued to snow. We have had a ice on the driveway all winter, today for the first time since the first of January, the ice is gone. We had a fairly nice weekend with temperatures in the 40s. Maybe there is an end to winter!
