I'm seriously ready for winter to be over, just so I can get back to a better water routine! I hate drinking water when I feel like I'm constantly freezing!!! But today I'm working on my 2nd 20-oz. bottle, and I'm determined to get a total of 4 of those today, once again.

This morning I got back to my ST and holy crap I totally kicked my a$$!!! I had to stop a couple times to get rid of that lightheaded feeling. It felt so great to be back, maybe I did too much. I wore my ankle weights to the gym too, and haven't taken them off yet. I'd really like some heavier ankle weights but these will do for now!

I logged my workouts for the rest of the week, so I can hold myself to them! I'm going back to running this week after taking a couple weeks off for foot pain. I'm ready and totally feeling better. It's so hard to start again after stopping! Whenever I take more than 3 days off running, it's very hard to get back. The first run is the hardest, then it gets easier.

Last night husband and I had a mini-date, we call it a mini-date because we can't be gone too long. We went to Starbucks and I had a hot chocolate and one of those giant cookies, WOW! I haven't done that in forever. But I told husband, that's all for me. I don't do it all the time, and today I'm back to eating better. He promised last night he was getting back to logging his food and steps on his phone, starting today. We'll see! He broke another car seat, it's his 3rd one in ten years. #messagetoloseweight Right now he has a milk crate behind his seat that is keeping him from falling back into the back seat while he's driving. *sigh* Keep praying for him, friends.

So sweet you guys got out for some time alone! I hope Dan finds his way to exercise. Is there something he could get into he just just has not discovered yet? I feel like if he found something he liked he would probably drop 50 lbs in 2 minutes. Boxing? Something manly. My dad has a punching bag that makes him really happy lol

Water - I just drink it without ice. I've found that it makes me too cold if I put ice in it and I often drink it at room temp.

Mini-date - awesome! Starbuck's has some other things that are a little healthier - fruit snacks, nuts, oatmeal. Hot chocolate would be enough for me, especially since I despise their coffee.

Running/work-out - keep it up! I restarted my strength training after a couple of weeks off today. I'm getting some twinges when I move the wrong way already. I also need to get back to my run/walks, but I have a hard time getting motivated when the weather is cold and/or rainy.

Hubby - Hmmm...Jeff hasn't broken a seat yet, so I guess we're fortunate. Hopefully, it will help him stay motivated.

Yesterday was the first day I have tracked my food in a long time. It looks like I stayed in range too!

    Have a great week!

love mini dates... last night we celebrated our 41st anniversary and went to longhorn steak house. thought i blew it but did stay with in my calorie range. of course only ate half my dinner too.. other half is maybe for lunch today. a treat now and again doesn't seem to hurt much.. just can't be all the time... maybe for next mini date you could go for a walk?
