Healthy Habit: the HOW

Yesterday I was able to get in about 30 minutes of dancing, some of it on fire!! I mean that quite literally. I lit my fire fans up for the first time last night. Let me say, this style produces a LOT of fire very close to my hands (the wicks are closer than the ones my friend let me borrow last time) so that will take some getting used to. I haven't gone through the pictures yet to see if any are good for posting, since it was my first time with them I mostly just waved them around lol. But I will get better. Tonight I practiced my 15 minutes of dancing with them not on fire just to get used to them. I want to get to the point that I don't hardly notice I'm carrying them.
In order to make this a habit, I'm writing it down on my daily to do list so I don't forget. I'm also making it a point to do it early in the night so I don't get too tired. Tomorrow I am going to make a few "15 minute" playlists on my ipod so I won't watch the clock. While I'm out of town for work, I'm going to just dance in my hotel room with headphones.
One non-dancing thing I did tonight was make a HUGE batch of spaghetti sauce for meals this month. I secretly added shredded carrots and zucchini and I haven't decided yet if I'm going to tell my boyfriend or just let him eat it first haha
