Well in spite of not really working out I managed to lose a little weight. Now, Now, let me explain before you have me drawn and quartered. I would try to work out and get so tired I literally had to take a nap. I have been working out on the weekends b/c I can nap if needed.

I had a very minor procedure 2/22 followed by the iron iv. Welp, I started to bleed, so bad to the point I was starting to hemorrhage. It still happens and I was starting to feel tired all the time and a dear friend at work mentioned I wasn't looking good. LOL one of the few who would get away with saying something like that. I went to the Dr on Friday and again was told I was pale, she took blood again. Those results will be in sometime this week. I of course will up date.

The good thing is there has been limited late night eating, lol basically b/c I just go to sleep but last night and tonight I'm up and no eating other then my meals. Funny I just don't want to!! Imagine that lol.

I've jump on the sugar free train again. I have 3 single packs of fig newton mini's left I won't throw them out b/c I think there is a health benefit to them but this weekend's shopping trip didn't include any sweet snack for me...NOOPPERS! He got his donuts and although tempted I didn't take one, not even a bite lol. I am an all or nothing and I've discovered that when it comes to sweet things it has to be nothing. I don't know or adhere to moderation.

I have been a little leary about taking my pain med but tonight I have to so I'm heading off to get them now.

    Oops - I guess posting the buttery sourdough cinnamon buns on my blog was a bad idea then, huh? HAHA. At least you only have to look at them. I have to smell them and bake them so others can stuff their face in the middle of the night. And I antagonized you with the e-mail too. I am a bad friend - well, it gives me something to work on, doens't it! HEHE

    I am so proud of you for getting up and working out when you are in such a state. I wonder if you can lose weight by being so low on iron? I am taking at least 65mg a day, but I am not absorbing it so will probably have to go on IV for it soon. And all I want to do is donate blood. Take it, please!! Nope, they won't take it because I am too low. Poop.

    Anyway sister, I am happy to hear that you are no longer the walking dead but that you are getting a little better as the days go by. Remember that if you ever need anything or need to scream, I am only a phone call away... and now I can even talk on my cell phone in the house! YAY! HAHA (we had to buy a signal booster because we are in the sticks out here.)

    I just read that red meat, raisins and legumes will get your iron up. I'm with you on the all or nothing sugar thing! Hope you're feeling better soon!

    I'm sure if your iron levels are low it will really wipe you out. Plus it might cause cravings and the temptation to eat late at night. I'm glad they're owing some labs to see what's going on. Great food choices when shopping. Love your humor too! emoticon
