2.) How will I do that??

Sunday, March 03, 2013

This is a question followed by What new habit do I want to develop?
And my answer to this is..( to follow yesterday's blog. )

** I want to develop a habit of eating "whole foods and eat clean". Not process foods as passible when I have choice. Also since yesterday's weight in experience and how I felt about this entire weight loss and my goals for healthy living, and the reason of joining of 5 % challenge. I have thought a lot about whole things. Why I have joined in this challenge in the first place? I've got motivated to join, also this challenge keeps motivating me towards my weight loss goal.

However, yesterday, I almost lost in the transition. Due to my lacking in healthy mind set of losing weight. I've got to motivated all right. But I was motivated too much so that I've disappointed of myself for only losing 1 pounds and I felt that I have lost in the weight loss competition. Then I said to myself, " Wait a minute !! What is that competition all about ? Where that thought came from? " We all are in the team to work together, no body spoused to compete with nobody. We are the team mattes. We also have deferent body's and deferent weight to start and deferent Metabolism rate. So I should not compare for my result with nobody. No need to be feeling lost in the Field. Right? But yesterday, I was disappointed and also felt FEAR of me not able to loose weight and such and such stupid thought. (But..Thanks to the many of my SP Friends Encouragements.) So I realized, it is very important to develop a "healthy mind Habit" as well as developing a HABIT of eating healthy foods.

If you do not have healthy mind set about losing weight or how to control emotional needs towards weight loss process. Will be tough on your success of whole thing. Also you may not motivate enough to stick to a whole foods or healthy eating. I come to conclusion that when you want to be healthy, It is not just feeding healthy foods. It is important to feeds healthy mind too. ( Needs emotional self check often.)

I realized my minds needs to slow down a bit and take my time. I've decided I won't get upset or disappoint even if my progress is slow. I will take the road of step by step, " little by little" do what I can will get me there to my goal. No need to be rush. Listen and respect to my body.

This is my answer to develop a healthy habit. How will I do it? I will do it little by little.

My new habits will be
1.) Try Eats "whole foods " eating clean whenever passible.
2.) Develop a habit of healthy mind/thinking towards weight loss/my goal.
3.) Be kind and respect myself. (*^^*)

To do this, I needs to have more knowledge over all, to learn which is a better or best choice for me. Hopefully by developing these habit, I will lose weight quickly and lot of it. (*^^*)

Yesterday, I have per-ordered a book called "Spark Solution" and joined Spark Coach. Today is my second day of the try out and so far so good. I am looking forwards to learn so many thing about healthy diets and fitness stuff that I haven't learned yet and to keep motivate me until I will achieve my goal.

**Last but not least, thanks again to my SP friends and emoticon A's who has encouraging me thru your post on my blog, your goodies , post on my SP Page. Your friendship and supports means a lot to me. *\(^o^)/* thank you. emoticon emoticon

You are right we are all different and lose weight at different speeds. But there is a lot of evidence that if you want to lose weight permanently it is best to do it slowly. So if you look at it that way 1lb is a good loss for a week. You are very wise to concentrate on whole foods and clean eating as being healthy is really more important than losing weight quickly. We are what we put in our mouths. I enjoyed reading this blog. Thank you.

Good on you Mickey! What an emoticon Blog. Yes taking it slow is the way to go. You have to do this for you not for anyone else and this is a lifestyle choice not a diet so it has to be something you can keep up with and are happy to do for the long term.

We do have to be kind and give our bodies the respect they deserve after all the have served us well so far in our journey in life.

We only have one life and it is up to us to enjoy it and get the most out of it we can while at the same time looking after our own health and finances and our families.

Keep up the excellent job Mickey! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Thanks for sharing your thinking process. I got a lot out of it because I often "beat myself up" for not doing as well as others or as well as I think I should. I have to do the same and remind myself that anything I do is a step in the right direction and lots of little bits add up!
    Thanks for sharing!

Definitely don't knock yourself for losing a pound! Heck, I can go weeks in the challenge without losing an ounce. Have fun with the challenge and good job with your plan.
