Food, its the biggest part of everyone's life because it is essential to sustain life! Food is a huge challenge and because my family isn't exactly a healthy eating group of people I have found it especially hard to change my diet. I have grown up on chips, greasy hamburgers and French fries and soda. So I have decided to try and get my dad (who lives with me) along with my aunt and uncle (who also live with me, but hopefully not for too long!) to eat a healthy dinner. For the last two nights I have been doing the cooking. I found recipes on this website that everyone could agree on and so far a success! I got absolutely no complaints and there were no leftovers! Im hoping that by just changing one meal a day for everyone it can help all of us eat healthy and help me because the hardest thing to do is skip pizza when everyone else around is thoroughly enjoying it right in front of your face! I am also proud of myself for not drinking ANY soda in 3 days and skipping the chip isle in the grocery store because chips are by far my favorite snack! So iv done good for a little while I just hope I can keep it up! I really don't want my son learning all the bad eating habits that I learned throughout my childhood. I don't know whats for dinner tonight but I think I might try a soup I found on this site!
