I said, "I'm back from my "vacation". I spent a week with a friend in crisis. Unfortunately I spent with a family member of this friend who was the queen of cholesterol. Everything fried. Nothing green. Healthy? HAH!!! So tomorrow? Back to reality. Thank God. "

So today is tomorrow, and I got on the scales. To my utter amazement, my weight is unchanged - I didn't gain anything. I have no clue how that happened - I can only attribute it to staying active, as I made sure to walk most every day.

Again... Thank God!

    Once you have a habit of eating healthy foods, a few unhealthy meals won't throw you off as much; your body has a way of compensating. The walks probably helped immensely! Keep up the good work!

    Wow!! That must have been hard to do. I had a neighbor like that.. everything was either in gravy, creamed sauces or fried, or all of the above!!
    Hmm. she died a few eyars ago at a very high weight, cancer and lost six feet of her bowel twenty years ago, but refused to change her diet or sedentary lifestyle.

    Good thing you can now get back on track and no gain!! Your body is probably rewarding you for your love of your friend!! Yup! That's it!!
