first day ..1200 cal. a day challenge.

I found challenging a another gal to keep within the 1200 cal. perimeter..is really helpful.
I look at the food and remember the commitment.
I am tracking everything on Spark.

    Good for you for tracking!

    The good thing, I think, about having a net calorie target like 1200 is that if you are CAREFUL and ACCURATE on your tracking and get in some exercise and are ACCURATE (as possible) on the tracking of the calories burned there, then you can definitely eat MORE than 1200 a day. 1200 a day, I assume, is the NET you are hoping to hit each day. So if you burn, say, 200 calories doing some sort of exercise, then you, in effect, can eat 1400 calories a day: 1200 that is your target plus an additional 200 to FUEL the workout.

    If you are working out and trying to hit that 1200 net target daily, remember you need to fuel the workout, otherwise you are actually eating at (possible much) less than 1200 calories net for the day.

    BTW - love that picture of you with the baby. Babies are AWESOME. Seems like forever since mine were that size... time sure does fly!
