Marching into Maintenance - My March Plan

Let's start with a February update-
#1 Start weight-180
End weight- 176
#2 I have done PT 24/7 for 3 weeks and am still alive. Even got a little muscle in my arms emoticon

The major thing for me right now is learning how to balance losing weight and learning how to transition to maintenance.

I have been in weight loss mode for so long that when I looked up the calories for maintenace it scared me. It had to be wrong.. 1800-2100 calories emoticon
Maybe I should explain right now I am eating between 1250-1400 calories so increasing to that much once I hit goal weight is kind of crazy
(4 more pounds till goal em>104.gif" alt="emoticon" width="42" height="42" border="0" id="emoticon"> ). So I thought since its the beginning of a new month I mind as well set new goals to help with this transition.

March Goals
1. Finish PT 24/7 Billy Blank and restart Weeks 2-4 emoticon
2. Add 2-3 additonal workouts per week ( circuit training) emoticon
3. 5 days a week eat within PT 24/7 calorie range
4. 2 days a week eat 1500-1800 calories- this will likely be the week-end
5. Track food EVERY day regardless of calorie count
6. Weigh in once a week ONLY
7. Hit goal weight by March 30th emoticon

Hope you all have productive March and I can't wait for Spring emoticon

    Congratulations on all of your success and being so close to goal! I see that you've already joined the At Goal & Maintaining + Transition to Maintenance team here. Please don't be afraid to give us a shout on the team threads if you're having any trouble making the transition or have any questions. You're definitely not alone in being a bit afraid of maintenance. I had the same fears when I reached goal a year ago and people on the maintenance team were extremely helpful in giving me suggestions and encouragement. Good luck and hope to see you there!

    Wonderful goals! I'll be very interested to see your transition to maintenance. It's a long way off for me but I am already curious about the process!

    HOW VERY EXCITING that you are approaching goal!!!!!

    Don't let the calorie count scare you! You can add the calories very gradually until you level out.
