What a week!

Saturday, March 02, 2013

We had two snow storms within one week. I know that many of my Spark Friends experienced these storms as well, but it was very unusual for us here in Kansas. Our snow will be totally gone by tomorrow. I am sure some of you may still be digging out.

Another happening this week was a call from my surgeon's office cancelling my knee replacement on the 13th. The reason: my doctor died of a massive heart attack. I was in shock. He is an excellent surgeon and I really liked him. He was very professional but would occasionally interject a little dry humor into the conversation.

Lastly, I had to see my GP about an infected toe. On antibiotics and it is better already. Will be on them for seven days. Always have to take probiotics to avoid a yeast infection caused by the antibiotics.

If you get the chance watch a video on line by Joe Cross. Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. Such an eye opener. Dr. Joel Furhman is also seen on this video. Some amazing transformations are featured.

God Bless You all!

I am sorry to hear about your doctor. I hope that
you find an equally good surgeon. You guys are
sick of the snow and we are sick of the rain. More
is expected. After a drought of 6 years, we are now
having more of our share of rain and flooding.
I hope the toe infection heals up for you. Probiotics
is a good idea. Have a nice Sunday. emoticon

I don't like snow. We have had flurries for 4 days and I'm sick of it.

That is so terrible about your doctor. I hope they have a good replacement in mind for you.

I am on high doses of probiotics as I was on antibiotics recently too. Sure does mess me up.
