End of week 1

Saturday, March 02, 2013

good morning! Weight in was today and at first I had a big woooooohooo for the 1.4 lb loss, but then my silly brain kicked in. It said ,"175.8?! That's nothing to get excited over!" I refuse to believe that though. any weight loss is a victory. Maybe it's because I didn't do as well as I could have this last week. I only worked out 2 days and I caught myself eating a few bad things. I will have to work harder this week so there is no doubt in my head about a woohoo! The exercise really is hard for me to fit in since I decided to start working 2 jobs, but I will figure something out.

PCOH051610, I used one of those a couple years ago and walked more than 5 miles around my restaurant in a day! I've never counted this as exercise though. emoticon To everyone for the encouragement! I guess I've just got my eyes glued to that finish line! emoticon

You had a GREAT weight loss this week, and yes, it IS good reason to get excited. You may not have been perfect (neither is anyone else, please remember), but you obviously did a lot of things right. You also took time to reflect on how you can do better in the coming week. Working two jobs isn't making it easy, but you seem determined to find a way. That makes you a winner in my book!

If you are working two jobs maybe you could discreetly attach a pedometer or FitBit device and see how many steps you are actually taking each day.

By the way, you are doing great! I'm so proud of you emoticon

You lost weight! That's great. Now give yourself a pat on the back for it!
I am learning self-compassion. We need to give ourselves credit for every single positive thing we do towards our goal...they build up each other until we reach our goals. When I saw my weight loss this morning, I also said, oh I must have lost water weight...I peed at night... emoticon

ha ha I had to remind myself that my pee did not seem to weight 2 lbs!!! LOL
