"Toss the Paper" game is just that: send it from one side of the room to the other, being sure to avoid the waste basket all together. After all, I saved them once, so they must be important for something or other.
However, now the dresser and bed remain paper free and...(drum roll)...tahdah...the desk "shelf" has only those papers I'm using to prepare for a ladies retreat and my Bible. Never mind that the top of the secretary has piles of books and cards as well as stacks of post-its. Want a gardening catalog? Here, catch. I know, you could really use an old stenographer's notebook. It's only half filled...lots of blank pages left. I once visited a lovely gardening center and each season I receive a beautiful picture postcard offering a discount. Instead of using it/them, I collect the photocards. Which one would you choose to keep? Ah, there's a phone directory. A couple of empty journals stand beside it waiting for insights. Oh dear, here are some maps. Surely you would want one of them?
Well, off to bed. Hakuna Matata and tomorrow's another day
