1.92 mile run in mission "5k Ultra-Violet" of Zombies, Run!

OK, January & February were a total bust exercise wise. Why do we quit our great habits and just stop doing the exercise we know is necessary for good health and weight? Why? Well excuse # 1 for me is I started a business from my home back in September and was working many many hours. I did not think it was going to take me so long to get myself situated. I kept saying "I'll start exercising again soon..."
So my clothes are becoming tighter. I totally refuse to go up a size. I had a couple aborted attempt's to start again. Last night I just got it in my head that I was just going to get up and JUST DO IT. So I woke up around 7 am. Put on my yoga pants, a long sleeve running shirt, threw on my sneakers, drank half a bottle of water & ate banana, grabbed my iPhone, put on my Zombies Run! app and did a 1.92 mile run, well it was a shuffle run, wow I got out of breath quick! I did it in a half hour, but I did it so yea for me!

Then I came home, walked the dog, did a load of laundry, vacuumed & washed the floor, did another load of laundry, and now I'll shower and get to website & book uploading work. Hopefully I won't be to sore tomorrow!

I don't know how much weight I gained back, honestly it doesn't matter, I think it will just be detrimental to know at this point. I'll weigh myself at some point but I know the clothes are tight but still fit LOL

I think what saved me from ballooning up to old sizes is I still came to Spark People most every day to log in. It kept in my mind that I am still a Sparker, still working toward my goal so I didn't go all crazy eating everything, I just ate normal (except for Red Robin but that was not a daily thing) and I eat pretty healthy anyway. But the exercise is a major part of losing and staying healthy, I know that but ignored it. Now I have to catch up.

    Good for you on the run. I quit logging in on Spark people for a couple of months and quickly gained back 18 pounds even though I felt like I was being careful. I have been back at it since January 1 but even with hitting it hard I have only managed to rid myself of 4 pounds.
