Day 6 of the challenge...

Thursday, February 28, 2013

Hi..Time to was another successful day..spark wise.not so good calving wise as we lost a calf today....that always makes me was the little black one I bottle fed yesterday...when they were turned out hubby said it looked like it had been kicked by a cow..and then died :(

I got in 120 fitness minutes today with chores and cattle and wood and rode my bike....drank up my water too (now I'm enjoying a light beer with the hockey game)

I had borscht again for lunch and pork chop and salad for supper..I made apple crisp so had a bit of that, too. I like to be back in the soup habit...I like to make a huge pot and then have a few meals during the week. I want to think up some soups for March..maybe to match where we are travelling the borscht! The challenge is coming along good.

It's hard to believe tomorrow is March!! Will it come in like a lion or a lamb? We have a snow storm forecast for the weekend...

We've been playing cribbage a lot this's one of hubby's favorites but lately I have been winning more often than him!! Then we found out we didn't have all 52 about not playing with a FULL DECK!! Haha!!

Tomorrows blog will have the February recap and my new March goals...time to start planning....

Better go for now...Edmonton is ahead of Dallas 2-0...go Oilers...Then Calgary play next....

Thanks for dropping by..keep on Sparkin'

So sorry to hear about the little calf. It makes me sad hearing about him. I hope all the rest will be healthy for you. Sounds like regardless you still have your Spark. Keep doing so well! emoticon
