Two Years Later

Thursday, February 28, 2013

It's been 2 years since I updated my blog. I figured it's about time. Since then I have graduated college and I am now working in Occupational Therapy. My husband has joined me in getting healthy and active. We have made it a family journey. Our girls are learning to eat healthier and we are active together. Some of the activities we enjoy together are biking, walking, skating and Wii Fit nights!

I wish I would have stuck with it more 2 years ago. I had lost some weight then and I did keep it off. Unfortunately it was such a stressful time in school that I just couldn't focus on school and losing weight. I think getting settled into my career and truly being happy there has allowed me to now focus on being healthy. I can't say what it is that made me ready to do it this time, but I do know that I feel good about it. I really feel like I can make it happen this time. Wish me luck!

There's definitely something to be said about being settled both physically and mentally so that you have the chance to gain a new perspective on future accomplishments.

Today is my six month SparkVersary on my second time round @ SP. I've done so many things differently this time and enjoyed success because of "where my head is at."

I wish you all the best on your journey to becoming the healthiest you can be and also much success!

    You can do it!
