February Goals Update!

Thursday, February 28, 2013

I have decided to set up small monthly goals for myself, that way the huge number I need to lose will be reduced to small doable chunks, and won't seem so overwhelming.

This month I would like to ...

Measure myself in inches, and measure again at the end of the month to see if progress was made... GOAL COMPLETED - I just measured and I lost a total of 11.5 inches from my body!

Lose ten or more pounds - I will weigh in on Sunday, but so far it's only be two pounds ....

Start running or jogging outside at least two times a week... Goal failed.... I have a hard time running on a treadmill because of past knee surgeries and the weather in Massachusetts has left the streets covered in the snow.... I know those are weak excuses, and I will try to start running in the month of March.

Go to the YMCA Zumba classes 2-3 times a week, to meet new people and learn new routines... GOAL COMPLETED ! Not only have I gone to 2 Zumba classes a week I have also signed up for bootcamp that runs 3 times a week....

Reduce the amount of alcohol I consume... I don't drink a lot but need to cut down and pick low calorie options when I do.... Gosh, I wish margaritas didn't taste so good! Goal Completed....I didn't cut out alcohol completely but I only had 4 drinks the entire month...

A plus for the month... Went to the doctors and my loos pressure was perfect!! And no meds will be needed...thank goodness!

Overall rating for this month B- ! I accomplished some goals but need to push myself more often....I need to track everyday and stick with it !
