Midway Through BLC-21

Here we are half-way through BLC-21 and the scale is not moving. Yesterday I started to feel sorry for myself and immediately decided to knock it off! That is a total waste of time!

So instead I will revamp my program. I will do what some of my teammates so wisely do and change not only the kind and amount of food I am eating but also the types of exercising. For the time being, in addition to walking (which I love) I am going to increase the amount of time spent strength training; not by a lot, mind you, but a little tweak every day may jumpstart a loss on the scale.

Time will tell, right? Wish me luck!

    Nah, I'm not wising you luck - I'm cheering for your success! Weight training 3 times a week can help. You can sneak it in. I can't do even a modified push-up on the floor yet. But I can do about 20 using the kitchen counter waiting for my toast to pop. (I had to start with the wall at first because even the counter was too much.) emoticon

    I hope the little tweaks get the scale moving again, but remember: it will hold out on you til the last possible minute before it gives in and shows your progress. emoticon
