March goals, Part I
Wednesday, February 27, 2013
While I had some goals for February, I don't feel like they were structured enough. If that makes sense. I need something a little more strict, to keep me on track with things. January seemed to go much better, with the January Jumpstart Challenge. So, I think I'm going to try something like that for March, again.
I was thinking of doing the 28-day challenge, which looks to be identical to the January Jumpstart challenge. Nothing wrong with that, but I'm afraid it may get a little boring quickly, and I don't want to lose interest.
So. Time to find something with the structure of the challenges (which has 7-days of 10 minute videos to do, labeled as Day 1, Day 2, etc, and then days 2-6 have 30 minutes of cardio added in. This is repeated every week for the month.) but a little more interesting.
Here are the problems I am facing:
As much as I liked doing the videos during my AM 10-minute break, I'm worried it will soon be too hot to do. Already, with the sun beating in my office daily, it gets pretty warm by the afternoon.
I don't want to do the videos at home, before/after my other 30-minute workout. That just doesn't appeal to me.
I don't want to commit to doing the videos in the morning. I have a hard enough time getting up in time for work at the moment, because I am still working through this latest bout of fatigue.
I need the structure, but I'm afraid of commitment. There, I said it.
I'm afraid of the fatigue staying, or getting worse, and preventing me from sticking to my plans.
I'm afraid of a lupus flare, preventing me from sticking to my plans, again.
I'm afraid of failing. There, I said that too.
Wow, I didn't expect this blog to take that kind of a turn. But I'm glad I did, I didn't really realize I was still struggling with those things. I will definitely have to address those before I create a plan for next month.
To be continued....(Hopefully today, if I can get it figured out quickly enough :) )
