no excuses, how about you? (minor editting) :)

sometimes, i am just in the mood for a "pity party" for myself. although i know this is normal... for me, it leads me down a bad path. often it leads to me to think why bother? isn't easier to just give up? and all the rest.

when i get in a "funk" i usually search for inspiration, something to get me a little motivated. and when i do, i think of Nick Vujicic. some of you might know of him, but if not, i have added his link to check him out. he was born with no legs, nor arms, but yet he swims, surfs, and many other things. his greatest gift, is his passion for Jesus Christ and spreading the good news. he is a living testimony for Christ.. he doesn't put it in a "preachy" way, and often he uses humor. so when i get down, that i "can't" do something, i remember him. he is A-mazing!

or how about Dick Hoyt? he is the father who pushed/pulled and carried his son through marathons and irnonmans! his son is a spastic quadriplegic with cerebral palsy. talk about difficult. again an amazing story...

and just one more for good measure... there is Randy Pausch, he was a professor at a college and it was a tradition to give a "last lecture" and his was so moving, soon after he died from pancreatic cancer. he wrote a wonderful book, about making the most out of your life.

i needed a little inspiration, these are a few people i like to think of...

and you know...

“People often say that motivation doesn’t last. Well, neither does bathing – that’s why we recommend it daily.” – Zig Ziglar

"Challenges aren't meant to break you. They are meant to be overcome so you can Grow Stronger and be all you were intended to be." ~ Zig Ziglar

if YOU have anyone that has overcome adversity and gives you great inspiration, i would LOVE you to leave a comment about them, sharing inspiration, is continuing the "spark" for everyone!!!

Nick V came to our church. It was great watching him
and seeing the testimony that man had and the
LOVE he has for the Lord!

We all left feeling that we had NOTHING to complain about!

    Thanks for the reminder
